Florida, Family & Port Washington

It was a busy week...
Last Sunday, Madelyn and I flew down to Florida to visit my sister and her family, and also to get out of the Wisconsin weather. The warm weather, green trees and Spanish moss was a beautiful change of scenery from the usual snowy days that I am use to seeing!

Beautiful ocean...

After Florida we flew to Kansas City to visit the rest of my family for a few days and from there, back to Wisconsin where my wonderful husband John was anxious to see his girls again!

We stayed overnight in a little town north of Milwaukee called Port Washington... I am in love with this place! I can see myself living here someday. Harbor towns are so beautiful and romantic, my pictures do not do it justice.
Being gone for a whole week has left a lot of catching up to do with Feathered Designs. So I better get back to work!! Check in with my Etsy shop soon for new arrivals.

Breathing Room

The bridal soot went so well last night! I can breath again.
I must say, eight people in a small studio with hot lights did not smell pretty folks...
OK, I'm mostly kidding but we where sweating up a storm.
And whoever said that photo shoots where glamorous must have only been looking at the pictures and spent no time around those lights!

I snapped a few pictures with my little camera but it didn't handle the dark room well resulting some very fuzzy pictures.

Hope to share the real pictures soon and will put up information on the dress designer, hair and makeup people and the amazing photographer!

Monday

Photo Shoot!

Monica from MoniRose on Etsy ( http://www.etsy.com/shop/MoniRose) has asked if I would like to send some hairpieces for a bridal shoot.
Monica is an amazing dress designer and I am so excited to be working with her.

Here is just one of her amazing creations. When I saw this gown, I fell in love with her work!

This upcoming photo shoot will display a number of items from my new spring/summer line, as well as fascinators that are currently for sale in my shop, and I can't wait for you all to see!!

A sample of whats to come...
